As you know, I do some event photography for a local magazine in Arizona. I decided I should post some photos from past events. So here is the first set from a clothing store holiday party.

My June Ad

So here's my ad. Keep in mind this is only a 1/6 page, 6+ inches by 2+ inches. I think since it's colorful, people will be drawn to it....at least hopefully. The theme for the issue is "VIPs in the Valley." So I figured that I should concentrate on portraiture. This is a relatively new design as well. So I'm still figiting with it. I'll begin to do more edits the more I advertise. I'd love your feedback. Thanks!

Mag Ad

So, I was recently offered a trade for a local magazine. I do some event photography for them, and I agreed to trade my services once for a 1/6 page ad in their magazine. It goes to the most affluent people in the Valley, and I think it is fairly well read. So this will be my first forray into advertising in a semi-major publication in the Valley. It should be interesting to see if I get any interest from it. If anything, it will be a good experiment. If it doesn't work, I'll just go back to getting paid =)

It's due this Friday so I will be working on the design. I will post what I come up with by Friday. Keep you posted....
